LQ065T5DG01 is a classic automotive-grade a-Si TN TFT-LCD module manufactured by Sharp Corporation. This 6.5-inch widescreen panel features native resolution 480(RGB)×234, standard 16:9 landscape aspect ratio. It adopts transmissive normally white TN display mode, single edge CCFL backlight and 40-pin single-channel 6-bit Parallel RGB FPC interface.

Designed originally for car navigation, vehicle multimedia hosts, it supports ultra-wide temperature range, stable performance under complex vehicle environment. This model has reached End of Life (EOL), mainly supplied as replacement screen for car audio refurbishment and maintenance projects. Q1: Is LQ065T5DG01 genuine original Sharp LCD panel?

A1: Yes. LQ065T5DG01 is official TFT-LCD module manufactured by Sharp. This model is EOL. We supply Grade A tested surplus stock complying with official datasheet specifications.

Q2: What interface does this panel adopt? Can LVDS/eDP driver boards drive it?

A2: It uses 40-pin 6-bit Parallel RGB TTL interface. It cannot be driven directly by LVDS or eDP controller boards; dedicated RGB driver board is required.

Q3: Does this panel need an external CCFL inverter? Can I modify to LED backlight?

A3: Yes, independent CCFL inverter is required to power the single CCFL lamp. Direct LED replacement is unsupported; professional hardware modification is needed for LED retrofit.

Q4: Can LQ065T5DG01 interchange with other 6.5-inch 480*234 Sharp panels?

A4: Same resolution, but FPC pin definition, timing and backlight connector differ greatly. Direct replacement without pin-to-pin verification is not recommended.

Q5: Does this LCD module come with touch screen?

A5: Standard bare panel has no built-in touch. External resistive touch overlay can be bonded according to project demand.

A6: Standard version is glossy surface with 3H hard coating; matte variant is unavailable for this model.
