TM050RDH03-00 is a 5.0-inch WVGA a-Si TFT-LCD module manufactured by Tianma Microelectronics. Native resolution 800(RGB)×480, 16:9 landscape format, TN transmissive normally white display mode, edge-lit WLED backlight without integrated LED driver circuit, equipped with 40Pin single-channel 8-bit Parallel RGB FPC interface.

This compact industrial small-size TFT display features ultra-slim structure and wide temperature working range. Widely adopted for industrial handheld instruments, embedded control terminals, portable testing equipment, navigation devices and legacy small equipment screen replacement. Equipped with anti-glare surface treatment and stable optical performance, suitable for indoor embedded applications. Q1: Is TM050RDH03-00 genuine original Tianma LCD panel?

A1: Yes. TM050RDH03-00 is mass-produced TFT-LCD module manufactured by Tianma. We supply Grade A fully tested panels complying with official datasheet specifications.

Q2: What interface does this panel adopt? Can LVDS or eDP driver boards drive it?

A2: It uses 40-pin 8-bit Parallel RGB interface. It cannot be driven directly by LVDS/eDP control boards; dedicated RGB driver board is required.

Q3: Does this module need an external WLED driver?

A3: Yes. The panel does not integrate built-in WLED drive circuit, external constant current LED driver is required.

Q4: Can TM050RDH03-00 interchange with TM050RDH03-40 / 41 variants?

A4: Same resolution and outline dimension, but FPC pin definition, timing parameters differ. Direct replacement without physical comparison and timing debugging is not recommended.

Q5: Matte or glossy surface?

A5: Standard version is anti-glare matte surface with 3H hard coating; glossy variant is unavailable.
