Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) CLAP070WP03 is a 7-inch WXGA HFFS full viewing angle LCD CELL launched by Chunghwa Picture Tubes, Ltd. (a veteran Taiwanese display manufacturer, later merged into Innolux), belonging to the CLAP070WP series. This product adopts CPT's exclusive HFFS wide viewing angle technology (IPS equivalent technology) with native 800(RGB)×1280 WXGA resolution and 215PPI pixel density. It features 700:1 high contrast ratio and 85°/85°/85°/85° full viewing angle display, with uniform color and no viewing angle color shift.
CLAP070WP03 is a CELL (liquid crystal glass) version, without backlight module and driver board, only including liquid crystal panel and polarizers. The signal interface is a 40-pin single-channel 6/8-bit LVDS interface supporting 262K/16.7M color display. The surface is treated with anti-glare matte coating, with an overall thickness of only 0.87mm and extremely light weight, making it easy to integrate. This model was mass-produced in Q1 2013 and is now discontinued, but there is still stable original inventory supply worldwide. The corresponding complete LCM module version is CLAA070WP03, with WLED backlight and built-in driver.
