Overview

Sharp LM12S47 is an upgraded 12.1-inch SVGA color SA-FSTN industrial LCD module, optimized to reduce image shadowing compared to older LM12S40 series CSTN panels. It was factory pre-installed on vintage injection molding machines, small CNC controllers, textile printing equipment and legacy PLC HMI terminals for static industrial data display.

Adopting Normally Black compensated super-twisted nematic liquid crystal, it delivers stable 4096-color rendering for static text, numerical parameters, production curves and simple color operation interfaces under 24/7 indoor constant-temperature workshop operation. It uses standard 41-pin 8-bit parallel TTL RGB bus with 5V logic voltage, fully compatible with vintage single-chip industrial control boards without LVDS signal output, eliminating extra signal conversion hardware during screen replacement.
