Sharp LM8M64R is a classic 8.1-inch HVGA color CSTN industrial-grade liquid crystal module manufactured by Sharp, adopting an 8:3 ultra-wide screen ratio design with native 640(RGB)×240 HVGA resolution and 84PPI pixel density. It features 80cd/m² typical brightness and 50:1 contrast ratio, equipped with a 1-piece CCFL cold cathode fluorescent lamp backlight system with a lifespan of up to 10,000 hours.
LM8M64R adopts a 20-pin 8-bit parallel data interface with 3.3V input voltage. The display mode is STN normally black transmissive, and the best viewing direction is 6 o'clock. With an overall thickness of only 7.0mm and a weight of about 175g, it has excellent industrial-grade stability and compatibility. This model has exactly the same technical parameters as the same series LM8M64 and can be directly interchanged. It is the original supporting display for many old industrial equipment, medical instruments and automotive electronic systems. Although discontinued, it remains a mainstream demand model in the industrial display replacement market.
